Making Appointments

Dental Examinations

During an initial consultation your dentist will check the soft and hard tissue in your mouth for anything which is not normal. Examples of abnormalities include signs of gum disease, bad breath and cancer.

Upon inspection of your teeth your dentist will be checking for decay, the way in which you bite and identifying how your teeth can be improved functionally aesthetically.

That is why we recommend regular dental checkups and hygiene visits which could be anything between 3-12 months depending upon your needs.

Your dentist will recommend the most suitable interval for your next check-up.

Specialist Dentistry Self Referral

Please contact the practice if you wish to enquire about specialist dentistry and one of the team will advise you of your options. We offer specialist services for gum disease treatment, root canal treatment and replacement of missing teeth with implant, bridges or dentures.

Nervous Patients

Our aim is to always provide treatment in a calming and relaxing environment. At The Dental Centre Bedford we also understand that some very nervous patients may wish to be sedated; in such circumstance we liaise with a GMC certified Medical Practitioner to provide sedation, enabling the dentist to focus on treatment required.
