At the Dental Centre Bedford, we have chosen to invest in one of the latest CBCT machines from Planmeca, the ProMax® 3D Classic.

One key reason for choosing this machine was based on the Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ function, a unique way to capture CBCT images at patient doses comparable to or even lower than panoramic images. The imaging protocol can be used with all imaging modes and voxel sizes.

The units have been designed to prevent human errors in CBCT imaging, with options for correcting movement, reducing artefacts and removing noise available.

To comply with IRMER 2000 regulations radiographs and CT scans should be reviewed by the referring practitioner or by a radiologist. This can rule out the possibility of coincidental pathology. We recommend this service and are happy to offer a report via a Consultant Radiologist.
